Check that the machine is not overloaded beyond its cotton capacity (see your machine's operating instructions). Normally, for optimum washing results, whatever the detergent, a machine should be filled to a maximum of 2/3 of its cotton capacity (5kg machine = 3kg of laundry).

Make sure you put the tablet in the drum BEFORE the laundry. Ideally, use a washing net, or put the tablet(s) in a stocking or sock, so that they can be drawn into the machine during the wash cycle 💦
